Description of Duties
This position identifies motorists who illegally pass stopped school buses, endangering the lives of children. This employee will review online video footage from a third party vendor and determine whether a vehicle has violated the law under the Monroe County School Bus Stop-Arm Demonstration Program. This employee will be required to understand state laws and regulations regarding school bus safety. This position will work closely with other Traffic Safety initiatives as needed, especially during the summer when bus traffic significantly decreases. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a high-level staff member. Training will be provided by a third party vendor. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.
Salary: $45,550 – $60,217
